National Agricultural Library Thesaurus and Glossary
National Agricultural Library Thesaurus and Glossary is a comprehensive controlled vocabulary for the purpose of indexing journal articles, books and data in agriculture, biology and related disciplines. It serves as a thesaurus that facilitates searching. Originally created in English in 2002 and in Spanish in 2007, and updated annually by the National Agricultural Library, it is used by AGRICOLA, and other databases.
The thesaurus contains over 255,390 terms, including 148,282 descriptors in English and Spanish. It is organized into 17 to facilitate browsing the vocabulary:
