Naklo, Črnomelj
Naklo
is a
settlement
northwest
of
the town
of
Črnomelj
in the
White Carniola
area
of
southeastern
Slovenia
. The area is part of the
traditional region
of
Lower Carniola
and is now included in the
Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region
.
Church
The
local church
is
dedicated
to
Saint James
and
belongs to
the
Parish
of Črnomelj. It is a single-naved
medieval
building
with a
Gothic
sanctuary
covered in
wall paintings
dating
to 1470
depicting
scenes from the
Passion of Christ
.
