Nahakul Pradhan


Nahakul Pradhan also known as Nakul Pradhan was a leader of Pro Democracy Movement in erstwhile Himalayan Kingdom of Sikkim. He held several cabinet positions in State Council of Sikkim - a constitutional government under the erstwhile Chogyal regime including the Excecutive Councillor. He has led the Sikkim State Congress for several years. He was the editor of Sikkim's first monthly news magazine Kanchenjunga, which his maternal uncle Kashiraj Pradhan started.
He has four sons, the eldest one is S.K.Pradhan, a two time former member of Sikkim Legislative Assembly. Journalist and singer Nitesh R Pradhan is his grandson.

Honours
