NTT Communications


NTT Communications, or NTT Com, is a subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, the largest telecommunications company in Japan and one of the largest worldwide. NTT Com provides network management, security and solution services to consumers, corporations and governments.
NTT Com Group has more than 30 companies in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the Americas.
As of 1 July 2019, NTT Communications and its subsidiaries became part of NTT Ltd., which is the de facto holding company of NTT.

History

NTT Communications was established in 1999 as a subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation. It is the principal NTT subsidiary engaged in long-distance and international telecommunications services.
In May 2011, NTT purchased 70% of Frontline Systems, an Australian IT services provider. In October 2013 it merged Frontline Systems with NTT Australia to form NTT ICT.
