NCT discography

The discography of the South Korean boy group NCT consists of four studio albums, three reissues, two live albums, thirteen extended plays, two single albums and twenty-seven singles. The multi-national and unlimited boy group was formed and managed by the Korean entertainment company SM Entertainment in 2016. This page compiles the discography of NCT as a whole group, as well as including all releases from four current NCT sub-units: NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV and NCT U.
Since the group's introduction, NCT 127 was the first sub-unit to receive a major release with their eponymous extended play on July 10, 2016, and has since released three more Korean extended plays, two studio albums, two reissues, one live album and a digital-exclusive Up Next release for Apple Music. With the release of Neo Zone and its subsequent reissue, NCT 127 was the first unit to receive a multi-platinum KMCA certificate, and eventually the first NCT release to sell over a million copies. The unit also expanded their discography to the Japanese market, debuting with a Japanese version of their second Korean single "Limitless" on November 4, 2017 before releasing one extended play and one studio album as of April 2019. Meanwhile, a then teen-aged NCT Dream was the second subunit to receive a major release with The First on February 9, 2017. The unit has since release four Korean extended play and one Japanese extended play as of May 2020, becoming the first unit to top the Oricon Albums Chart and the second unit overall to receive a platinum KMCA certificate with the release of We Boom. The fourth unit WayV had their first proper release with The Vision on January 17, 2019, and has since released two Chinese extended plays, one full-length studio album and a reissue. As a whole group, NCT had their first major release with NCT 2018 Empathy on March 14, 2018, featuring a total of eighteen current members at the time under the name NCT 2018, marking the first singular-year project to involve all current members and sub-units of NCT. Empathy was also the first NCT release to receive a platinum KMCA certificate following its introduction in the same year.
