Queen
Supayalat
. Myadaung Monastery was located
southwest
of
Mandalay Palace
, and was profusely
carved
and
gilded
in
gold
. As a
fine
specimen
of
Burmese architecture
, its
conservation
was
ordered
by
Lord Curzon
in
December 1901
.
