My Hero Academia (season 4)


The fourth season of the My Hero Academia anime series was produced by Bones and directed by Kenji Nagasaki, following the story of the original manga from the second half of the 14th volume to the first chapters of the 21st volume. The fourth season premiered on October 12, 2019, on ytv. Funimation has licensed the season for an English-language release in North America. Funimation's adaptation premiered on Adult Swim's Toonami block on November 9, 2019.
Four pieces of theme music are used for this season: two opening themes and two ending themes. For the first fourteen episodes, the opening theme is "Polaris" by Blue Encount, while the ending theme is "Kōkai no Uta" by Sayuri. The second opening theme is "Star Marker" by Kana-Boon and the ending theme is "Shout Baby" by Ryokuōshoku Shakai. Chrissy Costanza performs the insert songs "Each Goal" in episode 19 and "Hero too" in episode 23.

Japanese

will release the fourth season of the anime on DVD and Blu-ray in six volumes in Japan, with the first volume was released on January 22, 2020, and the final volume being scheduled for June 17, 2020.

English

will release the series in North America in two volumes, with the first volume scheduled for September 29, 2020.
