, elongated
mountain
with a small
conical
peak
at
the west
end, standing north-northeast of
Mount Dummett
in the
southern
Prince Charles Mountains
of
Antarctica
. It was mapped from
Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions
air
photos
taken in 1956 and named by the
Antarctic Names Committee of Australia
for
George Robert Cresswell
, an
auroral
physicist
at
Mawson Station
in
1960
.
