Queen Maud Mountains
. It was
discovered
in
December 1934
by the
Byrd Antarctic Expedition
geological
party
under
Quin Blackburn
, and named by
Richard
E.
Byrd
for William H. Bowlin,
airplane pilot
with the
expedition
.
