Mortmar is an unincorporated community in Riverside County, California. It lies at an elevation of -197 feet. Mortmar is located on the Yuma Subdivision of the Union Pacific Railroad, southeast of Indio.
Mortmar was originally located about 4 miles to the northwest of its present site, and relocated after that site was inundated by the Salton Sea.
