Moloacán is a municipality in Veracruz, Mexico. It is located in south-east zone of the State of Veracruz, about 456 km from state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 261.57 km2. It is located at.
The municipality ofMoloacán is delimited to the north by Coatzacoalcos, to the east by Las Choapas, to the south by Minatitlán, and to the west by Ixhuatlán del Sureste.
It produces principally maize, beans, rice and orange fruit.
