Mohammed Ali Shabbir
Mohammed Ali Shabbir is an Indian politician currently serving as the opposition leader of Telangana Legislative Council. Born in Kamareddy in Telangana, India, Shabbir has served as a representative for his district and in various government positions since 1989, when he was elected to be First Minister for Minority Welfare. He served as a Cabinet minister under the Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy government, during which time he extended 4% Reservations for minority students.
