Minister of State for Overseas Development Aid and Diaspora
The Minister of State for Overseas Development Aid and Diaspora is a junior ministerial post in the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Ireland.
The minister works together with the senior minister in this department and had special responsibility for all overseas aid affairs, and the Irish diaspora. The Minister of State does not hold cabinet rank. The position has been abolished and re-established on numerous occasions.
