Mike Smith (infielder)
Michael Alexander Smith is a former professional baseball infielder.
Smith attended Indiana University, where he won the 1992 Rotary Smith Award while playing for the Indiana Hoosiers baseball team.
Smith was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 5th round of the 1992 Major League Baseball Draft. He played five seasons in the minor leagues, all in the Rangers' farm system. His final professional season was 1996, which he spent with the Oklahoma City 89ers.
