Mike Moffat (ice hockey)
Michael Anthony Moffat is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League. He also played in the American Hockey League for the Baltimore Skipjacks, Hershey Bears and Nova Scotia Oilers. Moffat was born in Galt, Ontario.
In 1982, Moffat played for the Canadian U20 national team in the 1982 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships and was named the best goaltender of the tournament after leading Canada to the gold medal. In 1987, Moffat played for Canadian men's national team in the 1987 World Ice Hockey Championships.
As of 2019, Moffat ranks 14th on the Bruins' all-time career playoff wins list with six.
Moffat retired from professional hockey and now plays in an over-40 charity league. He also works as an external salesman at Rona, Inc. in Toronto.
