Melissa Greeff, is a South African Woman Grandmaster.

Biography

In 2007, in Windhoek ranked 5th in African Women's Chess Championship. In 2009, played for South Africa in World Girls' Junior Chess Championship and ranked 35th place. In 2009, in Tripoli won African Women's Chess Championship.
In 2010 Melissa Greeff participated in Women's World Chess Championship by knock-out system and in the first round lost to Humpy Koneru. In 2011, in Maputo ranked 4th in African Women's Chess Championship.
Melissa Greeff played for South Africa:
In 2007, she was awarded the FIDE International Women Master title and received the FIDE International Women Grandmaster title two years later.
Since 2014 in chess tournaments played rare. Moved to Canada where she studied at University of Toronto but later continued her work there.
