Mashiur Rahman (adviser)


Mashiur Rahman is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the Economic Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina.

Career

Rahman has voiced support for Rampal Power Plant in the Sundarbans. He is the incumbent Economic Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina. He was the chief election commissioner in the Awami League council elections in October 2016. He was accused of being involved in the Padma Bridge Scandal. He was appointed to an adviser post in 2014 with the rank of a minister.
