Marianne Vind


Marianne Vind is a Danish trade unionist and politician of the Social Democrats who has been serving as a Member of the European Parliament since 2019, when she replaced Jeppe Kofod.

Early career

Before entering European politics, Vind served as vice-president of Danish trade union HK/Private from 2011 until 2019.

Political career

In parliament, Vind has since been serving on the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs.
In addition to her committee assignments, Vind is part of the parliament's delegation for relations with the countries of Southeast Asia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. She is also a member of the European Parliament Intergroup on Disability.
