Marcie Maxwell
Marcie Maxwell is an American politician of the Democratic Party. She was a member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing the 41st district from 2009 to 2013. She resigned from the Legislature to serve as Governor Jay Inslee's senior education policy advisor.
Prior to her service in the State Legislature, she served as a member of the Renton School District Board from 2001-2009
In January 2019, Maxwell announced her candidacy for mayor of Renton. She lost her bid for the mayor's office to Armondo Pavone.
