Marcell Jacobs


Marcell Jacobs is an American-born Italian male sprinter and long jumper.

Biography

He has won in 2016 the country's senior national championship and, with his Personal Best 8.07 m, he ranked in the top 60, at 10th place, on the IAAF world leading list at the end of the 2017 indoor season.
In 2016, at the Italian U23 Championships of Brixen jumped 8.48 m, the best ever performance for an Italian, but this result can not be recognized as a national record due to the wind in favor of 2.8 m/s.
