Manlio Cancogni - writer and journalist from Italy. He was born on July 16, 1916 in Bologna and died on September 1, 2015 in Pietrasanta. He graduated from the Sapienza University of Rome. He was awarded the Grinzane Cavour Prize, the Bagutta Prize, the Viareggio Prize, the Strega Prize.
