Madhuca malaccensis


Madhuca malaccensis is a plant in the family Sapotaceae. It grows as a tree up to tall, with a trunk diameter of up to. The bark is greyish brown. Inflorescences bear up to eight flowers. The fruits are oblong, up to long. The tree is named after Malacca in Peninsular Malaysia. Habitat is lowland mixed dipterocarp forest from sea-level to altitude. M. malaccensis is found in Thailand, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore and Borneo.
