Luiz Fernando Dias Duarte - anthropologist from Brazil. He was born on August 30, 1949 in Rio de Janeiro. He graduated from the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences, the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He was awarded the National Order of Scientific Merit.
