The city of Duluth, Minnesota, is home to 17 completed high-rises standing over 115 ft tall. The tallest building in Duluth is the 16-story, 247-foot-tall Alworth Building, which at the time of its construction, was the tallest building in Minnesota outside Minneapolis.
The history of high-rises in Duluth begins with the Torrey Building. Completed in 1892, it is Duluth's first high-rise. It was the first building outside the Twin Cities to reach 12 floors.
The newest high-rise constructed in Duluth is the 11-story, 207 ft tall Maurices Headquarters Building, completed in 2016.
