Belle Vue c.12,000Wakefield TrinityWakefield originally planned to build a stadium at Newmarket but funding could never be found for the project. In 2016, the club's current ground, Belle Vue, was bought by 88m Group who expressed interest in redeveloping the ground. The next year plans were unveiled for a 12,000 capacity stadium on the current site of the old one. In December 2017, Wakefield Trinity and Wakefield Council agreed on a deal that would see Belle Vue redeveloped by 2020.
New Swinton Stadiumc.5,000Swinton LionsIn 2016, Swinton signed a lease on a 7.3-acre site in Agecroft to build a community stadium within three years. However, plans have been in doubt due to Swinton's financial troubles.
Whitebank Stadium c.TBAOldham RLFCIn November 2016 plans were approved to add a 3G pitch to the stadium and add some other training facilities as well as office space for Oldham RLFC who also have ambitions of redeveloping the stadium to meet RFL minimum standards for the Championship and make it their permanent home.
