Line 10 (Shanghai Metro)
Line 10 is a southwest-northeast line of the Shanghai Metro network. It officially opened for service on April 10, 2010. The line runs from to, with a branch line from to. It connects the Hongqiao International Airport with the downtown core of Shanghai, and also the dense residential districts of Yangpu and Hongkou.
The line is fully automated and driverless. It is the only line in the system with numbered station codes, and is colored lilac on system maps.

Future
The second phase, under construction, is a northern extension of the first phase of Line 10 from to. This phase will be completed by 2020.
