Lenow, Tennessee
Lenow is a community in east-central Shelby County, Tennessee. It is included in the Cordova/Appling, Tennessee city limits. The community resides on Houston Levee Road, between Pisgah Road and Morning Sun Road. Lenow Road, named after the community, heads southwestward from Houston Levee Road and enters the old town area of Cordova. The Nashville, Chattanooga and St. Louis Railway once ran through Lenow, along Lenow Road, an important route from Memphis to Nashville. This route was considered nonessential and was dug up in 1968. Lenow is bordered by Pisgah to the south, Bartlett to the west, Lakeland to the north, and Eads to the east.
