Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi
Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi is an Indian romantic drama television series which aired on Sony TV. It premiered on 29 February 2016 and went off air on 2 November 2017, lasting two seasons. It starred Shaheer Sheikh, Erica Fernandes and Supriya Pilgaonkar.
The series is a realistic take on the romantic relationship between Dev and Sonakshi. The show mainly revolves around their love story and its impact upon the unique, close bond between Dev and his mother, while exploring other family relationships.
In January 2017, a seven-year leap was introduced. Dev was shown to have transformed into a self-loving and carefree man, while Sonakshi had become a mature businesswoman and a single mother.
The show originally ended in 24 August 2017. But on 31 August 2017, the channel announced that because of viewer demand the show would air extra episodes of Dev and Sonakshi's bonding with their newborn in mid-September 2017.

Plot
Season 1
Set in Delhi, it traces the story of two individuals namely Devrath "Dev" Dixit and Sonakshi "Sona" Bose.Serious and reserved, Dev is a workaholic devoted to his family.He wants to provide them with happiness and everything that they want, because all of them have seen too much of poverty. His life was spent building an empire and giving his family a better life.He owns a company which manufactures mobiles.He lives with his mother, and three sisters, their father,who passed away when he was still a child.
Bubbly, caring and bold, Sona is a doctor part of her Bengali. She believes in true love, and is convinced to wait for her Mr. Right,however long it takes.
Sona is hired as Dev's mother Ishwari's consulting nutritionist to check her diet and health, and Dev and Sona form a bond of rudeness at first.They soon become comfortable with each other, and as that happens, Sona starts to question to herself, if Dev is only a friend or more. Later, she meets with a grave accident, and as Dev saves her, and cares for her, and at that point, Sona realises that she has fallen in love with him.
Being very private, Dev finds a great friend in Sona. They become very close friends, sharing everything with each other. His alliance gets fixed with Natasha, a rich businesswoman, as a part of a business deal with Natasha's father, who is also a businessman. Sona is left heartbroken.
While all preparations for Natasha's and Dev's marriage go on;on the day of their engagement, Dev realizes that he loves Sona,and immediately calls off the engagement. He proposes Sona that day itself.
As Dev and Sona's romance follows, Ishwari finds out about them. She hesitates to accept Sona, but soon she gives in, and accepts Sona as her daughter in law. She soon succumbs to depression, finding it hard to make room for her in Dev's life. She is admitted in the hospital, and sensing Ishwari's disapproval, Dev takes a careless and hast decision, that is, he splits up with Sona. Hesitant to move on, she soon agrees to get engaged to Ritwick Sen.
Dev stalks Sona in denial regarding her engagement. He gets depressed and drinks to suppress his misery, falling unconscious and creating scene on Sona's engagement day. Sona breaks apart and Ritwick then steps back to reunite them. Watching her son ruin his life due to drinking and going into depression, Ishwari realises her selfishness and accepts Sona, to make her son happy. Dev then proposes Sona for marriage.
Sona is hesitant to go back to Dev, who hurt her and embarrassed her family; but eventually; Sona, and the entire Bose family agrees and Sona marries Dev which starts off happy and romantically. However,before the day of their marriage, Dev finds out that Sona can never conceive a child. Scared that the marriage will break apart, he hides this fact from Sona and Ishwari. Due to Ishwari's inner insecurities,the hidden fact that Sona cannot have a child-which everyone finds out later, a few financial misunderstandings and other family members' manipulations, Dev and Sona get separated and Sona moves to Kolkata with her family.
Seven years later, Dev has transformed into a seemingly selfish, carefree and a completely different man, who stops believing in love, because of his failed relationship with Sona. In his mind, he blames Sona for leaving him.
Sona is now a businesswoman and has a daughter Suhana. She returns to Delhi due to some work issues, with Suhana and the entire Bose family. Inevitably, Sona meets Dev at an award function.
They both realise how much they've changed and they blame each other for their separation. They develop feelings of immense hatred towards each other. They inevitably meet a few times, both of them saving each other in times of danger.
Dev meets Soha unintentionally and starts adoring her, but doesn't know that he is her father. A few days later, he finds out that Suhana is his daughter and reveals his identity. Hesitant at first, Suhana eventually accepts him. Dev and Sona are forced to live together for Suhana's sake;making a deal to live in each other's house alternate weeks. Soon, their closeness makes Ishwari feel the blunder she made.Meanwhile, Sona also helps Ishwari,to get rid of a man who has been threatening her since years.Sona confronts the man, and gets him arrested. Ishwari realises her grave mistake, and starts adoring Sona and Suhana. She then plans to reunite Dev and Sona.
In the meanwhile, Dev realizes he still has feelings for Sona, and gets involved into the plan his mother has made. In order to get Sona and himself to reunite, he agrees to marry another woman,to make Sona jealous.
As jealousy hits Sona, she realises she still loves Dev, but hesitates to go back to him, because she is scared if history would repeat itself, and also because her father had earlier made her swear on his life, to not go back to Dev and marry him. Ishwari then comes to Sona's home, to convince her, and her father takes back the condition of not marrying Dev. She then confesses her love for him by proposing him in rain. They hug each other and reunite, and they move in together into Dev's house again. The bond between Sona and Ishwari improves,and Sona gives birth to her and Dev's second child, a baby boy, named Shubh.
Season 2
Six months later, Dev and Sona have found it difficult to handle Shubh and Suhana alongside their work simultaneously. Tensed about the upbringing of Shubh and Suhana, Ishwari convinces Sona to quit her job and look after them at home. Well aware of Sona's love for her work, Dev stops working,and decides to look after the kids, urging Sona to work.There is a lot of conflict among all family members regarding this decision, but Dev and Sona stay adamant, and leave no stone unturned to justify their decision. Eventually, their perspective and love for each other is understood by everyone and show ends on a happy note.

Production
Casting
was chosen to play one of the show's leads. He is returning to Indian television after a hiatus of two years. Veteran actress Supriya Pilgaonkar was chosen to play the role of Shaheer's mother. Actress Erica Fernandes was finalized for the other lead spot. She is making her television debut with the show.Reception

Soundtrack of the show were composed by Adil-Prasant. Songs were sung by Subhajit Mukherjee and Arpita Mukherjee. On 10 February 2017 the channel released a compilation of show's romantic songs on YouTube as Valentine's Day special. "Tu Mujhme Mujhse Zyaada Hai " is one of the "Most Romantic Hindi Title Songs" among the shows telecasted by the channel.Adaptations
Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi has been dubbed in Tamil as Ini Ellam Vasanthame and broadcast on Polimer TV, and in Telugu as Amma Nenu O Ammayi and broadcast onGemini TV. It is also dubbed in Malayalam as Pranayavarnangal and was aired on Kairali TV. Internationally, the show airs on MBC Bollywood, dubbed in Arabic as وجوه الحب , while in Mayotte the series is broadcast on Mayotte la 1ère as Couleurs d'Amour. Due to Sheikh's popularity in Indonesia, the show has also been dubbed in Bahasa as Dev & Sona and airs on ANTV.
