Komedi Stambul


Komedi Stambul, or simply Stambul, was a form of trans-ethnic Indonesian folk theatre that was popular from the late nineteenth century to the mid twentieth century.
Stambul drew inspiration from a variety of styles including Western opera, Chinese opera, Middle Eastern music and Operetta.
