Kinh Do Corporation
KIDO Mondelez is joint stock company specialized in producing diversified food and beverage. The company is a member of the Mondelez International Group, which fully acquired the Vietnamese-based corporation in 2016 for a total of $460 million. This acquisition was split into two purchases: one in 2014 for $80 million and one in 2016 for $370 million. The corporate group also includes companies in the fields of financial services, real estate and a retail bakery chain. Kinh Do Corporation manages a wide variety of brand names, distributes imported brand name snack and candy goods, and manufactures food for export from Vietnam. Main offices of the company are located in Ho Chi Minh City.
The company became known as Mondelez Ki Do on August, 2016.
Kinh Do Corporation was originally founded in 1993 where it specialized as a manufacturer and distributor of confectionery products for Vietnamese consumers. The company has many subsidiaries under its name, with KIDO Foods as its main revenue focus. The company's registered office and factory are located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and two additional branches are Ho Chi Minh, and five branches located in Ha Noi, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Bac Ninh and Cambodia.

- Merino - An ice-cream brand made of traditional ingredients catering to larger consumer groups. Flavors for this brand include: green bean, red bean, taro and durian.
- Celano - Regarded as a premium brand with products created from milk and other ingredients including vanilla, chocolate, tiramisu, and pistachio which are mixed with nuts or jams.
- Wel Yo - Brand that produces micronutrients that claims to support healthy growth for children. It is used as a daily snack aimed at health-conscious Vietnamese consumers.

Board of Directors
Tran Le Nguyen - Vice Chairman and CEO of KIDO Group. Also Vice Chairman of KIDO Frozen Foods. He developed the acquisition strategy of KIDO group that led to the acquisition of the ice cream business from Unilever. He has background in establishing and scaling business over the years, and is an active Board of Director of the Vietnam Chamber Commerce and Industry.
Tran Quoc Nguyen - CEO of KIDO Frozen Foods and Board Member of KIDO Group. He has been in the industry for 20 years and has held key senior management positions and has led KIDO through its expansion since the beginning. He helped expand KIDO's product portfolio through expanding the distribution network of ice cream and frozen food.

Tran Thi Thuy Linh - Deputy CEO and Finance Director of KIDO Foods since 2014. Originally with KIDO Corporation and joined KIDO Foods after the acquisition to lead the Finance and Accounting function as the Finance Director. She previously worked for Ernst & Young Vietnam. She graduated from the Faculty of Food Technology at Nha Trang University of Aquaculture and is a Masters graduate from the Faculty of Business Administration at Ho Chi Minh City Open University.Tran Thi Ngoc Diep - Marketing Director of KIDO Foods since 2010. She graduated from Marketing in Swinburne University. She has over 20 years of experience in marketing management and the dairy industry. Prior to joining KIDO foods, she has also been the Marketing Director of companies such as International Nutrition Vietnam, Fonterra Vietnam and Dutch Lady.
Tran Hai Loc - Sales Director of KIDO Foods since 202. He graduated from University of Economics majoring in International Business and has over 20 years of experience in the consumer products industry. He has also held positions in sales and trade marketing in firms such as Unilever, SC Johnson, ICP, and DKSH.
Nguyen Thi Thanh - Research and Development Director and KIDO Foods since 2003. She graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology majoring in chemical food engineering. She has over 20 years of local and international experience in Research and Development and Quality Assurance. She has completed international training programs such as Food Safety & Quality Assurance course organized by Rabelais University in France, Dairy Production Technology from US Dairy Export Council, and Ice-cream and Yogurt production technology at Research and Application Center in England, Denmark, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

Kelly Yin Hon Wong - Group Chief Financial Officer of KIDO Group and Head of Supervisory Board of KIDO Frozen Foods since 2011, managing the Group's finance, accounting and investment activities. He has lived and worked in Vietnam for more than 10 years in different finance roles. He graduated from the University of British Columbia, Canada with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and has a Diploma in Asia Pacific Management from the McRae Institute of Management at Capilano University Canada.Nguyen Thi Oanh - Supervisory Board Member of KIDO Frozen Foods. She joined the KIDO Group as a Deputy Manager in the Accounting Department when it was established in 1995. Since 2012, she has held the position as Chief Accountant of KIDO Group. She has helped KIDO's accounting system to fully apply with the Vietnam Accounting Standards by maintaining strict accounting controls in terms of accuracy and timeliness. She is also a Chief Accountant at the KIDO Investment Limited Company and Thien Phuc Dien Corporation. She also is the Head of Supervisory Board at Rong Viet Securities Corporation. She graduated from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, concentrating in Business Administration and competed the Certificate of Chief Accountant.

Ice-cream Product Growth
In 2017 KIDO Foods led the Vietnamese ice-cream market with growth of 16 percent, whereas the average growth in the market was 14.7 percent. Revenues from ice-cream boosted KIDO's cash flows by 1.5 trillion VND which was a 6 percent increase from 2016. In early 2017, KIDO Foods dominated the ice cream market with a 35 percent market share, in comparison to other companies' such as Unilever, Thuy Ta and Vinamilk which 10 percent, 10 percent and 9 percent market shares respectively.KIDO Foods owns two of the leading brands in Vietnam: Merino and Celano. Merino focuses on targeting the younger audience of 5 to 25 years old. Whereas Celano targets an older audience of 25 to 40 years old. About 70% of the ice cream in Vietnam is sold through retail outlets in the form of instant ice cream or box ice cream, while the remaining 30% is sold through food services outlets such as restaurants, coffee shops, which often has a higher price.
KIDO Group has a plant with an area of nearly 24,000 m² in the Tay Bac Cu Chi Industrial Zone, designed particularly to manufacture the leading ice cream brands such as Celano, Merino and Wel Yo. Since 2011, the firm has tried to expand their ice cream and yogurt capacity by doubling production.
