Killing Me Softly (novel) Killing Me Softlypsychological thriller by writing team Nicci French from 1999 .Synopsis Alice Loudon, a pharmaceutical researcher who lives in London, leaves her boyfriend Jake to marry Adam Tallis, a mountain climber she met only recently .
