Kenton High School (Kenton, Ohio)

Kenton High School is a public high school in Kenton, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Kenton City Schools district. Their mascot are the Wildcats. They are members of the Western Buckeye League.
Kenton High School gained notoriety in 2006 when two varsity football players, Quarterback Dailyn Campbell, and teammate Jesse Howard placed a deer decoy in a country road. Two classmates from Kenton High School were severely injured when they struck the decoy and rolled their vehicle in a ditch. After a trial, the judge ruled the two football players guilty, but permitted them to remain out of jail until the conclusion of the football season. The ruling caused much conflict in the Kenton and "caused a severe split in the community."
