Karthavyam (1990 film)
Karthavyam is a 1990 Telugu-language political action film directed by Mohan Gandhi. The film was a blockbuster and was subsequently dubbed into Tamil as Vyjayanthi IPS. The lead actress Vijayashanti won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in this film. The film was written by Paruchuri Brothers and is roughly based on the real-life story of Kiran Bedi, IPS Officer.
