Kampong Pandan Library

Kampong Pandan Library is a public library in Kampong Pandan in Belait, Brunei. It is one of the libraries operated by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Brunei.

History

The laying of foundation stone was held in an official ceremony on 31 July 2004. The construction was completed in about two years, and on 3 May 2006 the library was inaugurated by Mohammad bin Daud, the then Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.

The library houses the Brunei Shell Petroleum Company collection, which consists of reading materials pertaining to the oil and gas industry as well as its namesake.
