Kadia (term)
Kadia is a term used to refer to a mason or persons involved in masonry in India, especially in Gujarati language.
Many Indian communities, like Kadia Muslim, Kadia Kshatriyas, Mestri, Sathwara, Kadia Kumbhar, Kadiya Suthar, whose occupation is involved with masonry are, therefore, generally referred to as Kadia. Many persons both Hindu and Muslim, involved in mason's job use therefore term/word Kadia, either as pre-fix or as surname after their name or are generally referred to as Kadia.
