Josh Heard
Joshua "Josh" Heard is a Welsh professional soccer player who plays as an attacking midfielder for Pacific FC.Early life
Born in Cardiff, Wales, Heard grew up in Victoria, British Columbia after moving there as a child.
Heard played four years of college soccer at the University of Washington between 2012 and 2015. While at school, he played for Premier Development League sides Victoria Highlanders and Puget Sound Gunners during the summer.Club career
On 19 January 2016, Heard was selected 71st overall in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by Vancouver Whitecaps FC. However, he wasn't signed by Vancouver, instead joining United Soccer League side Bethlehem Steel on 28 January 2016. Heard was released by Bethlehem Steel on 2 November 2017.On 16 February 2018, Heard joined USL side Real Monarchs. On 12 July 2019, Heard was loaned to Austrian third-tier side Pinzgau Saalfelden. Heard returned to Monarchs in July 2020.Pacific FC
On 31 July 2020, Heard returned to his hometown of Victoria, signing with Pacific FC of the Canadian Premier League.
