John Somerville (bowls)
John "Jack" Somerville was a New Zealand lawn bowls player.At the 1974 British Commonwealth Games he won the men's fours gold medal partnering David Baldwin, Kerry Clark and Gordon Jolly.
He won the 1971, 1985 & 1986 fours title at the New Zealand National Bowls Championships when bowling for the Rewa Bowls Club.Awards
In 2013, Somerville was an inaugural inductee into the Bowls New Zealand Hall of Fame.
