• the Abbé Courayer who championed Anglican orders, came over to England in 1728, was lionized, and eventually buried in the cloisters of Westminster; and
• Charles Dodd, a pseudonym of Hugh Tootell, who wrote, Constable maintained, with a prejudice against Jesuits.
