John A. Key
John Alexander Key was a U.S. Representative from Ohio.
Born in Marion, Ohio, Key attended the public schools.

Secretary to Representative Carl C. Anderson, of Ohio from 1908 to 1912.
Key was elected as a Democrat to the Sixty-third, Sixty-fourth, and Sixty-fifth Congresses.
He served as chairman of the Committee on Pensions.
He was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1918 to the Sixty-sixth Congress.
He engaged in the petroleum industry.
He served as inspector of Federal prisons from 1934 until his retirement in 1941.
He died in Marion, Ohio, March 4, 1954.
He was interred in Marion Cemetery.
