Joe Tate (politician)


Joseph "Joe" Allen Tate is an American politician from Michigan. Tate is a Democratic member of Michigan House of Representatives from District 2.

Early life

Tate was born in Detroit, Michigan.

Career

In 2004, Tate became an Offensive Lineman for National Football League. Tate served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps. In 2017, Tate became a program manager at Detroit Economic Growth Corporation.
On November 6, 2018, Tate won the election and became a member of Michigan House of Representatives for District 2.
