Jeff Bridges (politician)


Jeff Bridges is a Democratic member of the Colorado Senate, representing District 26. A vacancy committee appointed him to the seat following the resignation of Daniel Kagan.
Prior to his appointment, Bridges served in the Colorado House of Representatives, representing District 3, which covers a portion of Arapahoe County. He was first elected in 2016 and was re-elected in 2018.
Before holding elected office, Bridges was a campaign spokesman for several Colorado politicians, including former U.S. Representative John Salazar. He is the son of Colorado politician Rutt Bridges.
While in the house, Bridges served on the House Education Committee and the House Transportation & Energy Committee.

Elections

Bridges was elected to the House of Representatives in 2016, winning 52.53% of the vote against Republican opponent Katy Brown.
