Janneke Snijder-Hazelhoff
Janna Fennechien Snijder-Hazelhoff is a Dutch farmer and politician. As a member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy she was an MP from 3 June 2003 to 19 September 2012. Previously she was a member of the House of Representatives from 1999 to 2002. She focused on matters of agriculture, food safety, biotechnology, infrastructure and natural environment. From 14 November 2013 to 1 January 2018 she was acting mayor of Bellingwedde, and acting mayor of Oldebroek from 9 July 2018 to 3 October 2019.
She was a member of the municipal council of the former municipality of Termunten from 1982 to 1990, a member of the municipal council of Delfzijl from 1990 to 2000 as well as an alderwoman of this municipality from 1998 to 2000. She was also a member of the States-Provincial of Groningen from 1992 to 1999.
