Jan Peters (engineer)
Jan Peters is an engineer, consultant and campaigner for diversity in STEM. From 2008–2010, Peters was the President of the Women's Engineering Society.
Peters founded education consultancy Katalytik in 2004. She worked with organisations such as the Royal Society, where she was Equality and Diversity Manager, University College London Engineering, and HESTEM.
Peters was awarded an MBE in the 2017 New Year Honours. The same year, she was also awarded an honorary doctorate from Bournemouth University.
In 2018, Peters co-founded Mission Reignition, an organisation aiming to create a science centre in Christchurch.
