Jal Manthan
Jal Manthan was a three-day conference organized to discuss various issues of water conservation in India. It was hosted by the Ministry of Water Resources.
The conference sought to obtain feedback from stakeholders such as state and national government officials, civil societies, non-governmental organizations, and water user communities, to make government policies more responsive and accessible. The conference was inaugurated by Union Minister Uma Bharati on 20 November 2014.Agenda
