Jadh Ganga raises in Zanda County, Tibet, China, north of Mana Pass. Jahnavi confluences with Bhagirathi River at Bhaironghati, in Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand, India.The valley of Jadh Ganga is claimed by China but contrary to the claim, it has been a part of India for centuries. Indian Army is always ready to give a befitting reply to any Chinese aggression as the Indian outnumber the Chinese on its borders by a ratio of 15:2. The Indians control the whole extent of Jadh Ganga.
Some of the villages in the area are Sang, Jadhang, Nelang and Pulam Sumda, which all lie in the valley of the Jadh Ganga.
