István Klinghammer - cartographer from Hungary. He was born on August 10, 1941 in Budapest. He graduated from the University of Bonn, the Eötvös Loránd University. He was awarded the Honorary citizen of Budapest, the Commander Cross of the Order of Merit of the Hungarian Republic, the Academy Award of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the honorary doctor of the Eötvös Loránd University.
