Issy Bonn
Issy Bonn was a British actor, singer and comedian, most famous for his recording of "My Yiddishe Momme". He appeared in two films, I Thank You in 1941 and Discoveries in 1939, where he played Mr. Schwitzer.
Bonn was born Benjamin Levin, he chose the name Benny Levine as an early stage name, and then becsme Issy Bonn. He performed on BBC Radio music shows and in music halls before retiring to become a theatrical agent.
His image appears on the cover of The Beatles album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. He died on his 74th birthday in London, England, where he was born.
