The International Graduate School of Neuroscience or is responsible for the education of postgraduate students to the level of PhD degree in Neuroscience, at the in Germany.
Established in 2001, the IGSN rapidly became one of the foremost European schools for postgraduate neuroscience training and has already enabled over 60 young neuroscientists to their PhD degrees. Currently, ca. 50 students are registered within the IGSN degree programme.
One of the unique features of the IGSN curriculum is its intensive lecture programme that covers neuroscience topics through the levels of molecular, cellular, systems, cognitive, clinical and computational neurosciences thus enabling students to gain a very comprehensive knowledge of the field.
Graduate students conduct their research work in any of the six participating Faculties and Institutions skills enable a well-rounded education of the PhD students.
