Inge Merkel


Inge Merkel - writer and author from Austria. She was born on October 1, 1922 in Vienna and died on January 15, 2006 in San Miguel de Allende. She was awarded the Aspekte-Literaturpreis, the Austrian Decoration for Science and Art, the City of Vienna Literature Prize, the Anton Wildgans Prize, the Gold Decoration for Services to the City of Vienna, the Österreichischer Kunstpreis für Literatur.
