Houstonville, Illinois
Houstonville, an extinct village, was in the southwest corner of Section 16, East Bend Township, Champaign County, Illinois, United States. The Houstonville Post Office operated there from about 1871 to 1878, and the village had churches and a county school. Not served by a railroad line, Houstonville was abandoned gradually in the early 20th century. Nearby cemeteries include Beekman and Peabody.Geography
